Doug oversees the vision and strategic direction of the company. Over the last decade, ShortStack has grown from an in-house solution for client projects to a trusted platform for brands and agencies around the globe. Doug has a degree in math/computer science from UCLA, but has been coding since he was in high school. When he’s not in the office, Doug can be found in the gym or enjoying life with his family.
Cody is one of the developers who works on expanding the platform. Instant win, custom domains, and our new Form Designer are just a few projects where he has shown his expertise. Cody has a degree in computer science & engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is the company’s resident data guru. When he’s not building features or crunching numbers, Cody can be found on his snowboard, or in the kitchen with his wife who happens to be a master baker.
Dylan is a self-taught Javascript developer, who holds a degree in biochemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno. He’s the team member most likely to sniff out and fix bugs, and he’s also the guy who implements the various feature requests that come from ShortStack’s loyal users. When he’s not at the office, Dylan is studying up on digital currencies or is spinning tunes at clubs and bars around town.
Lea is ShortStack’s employee #2 and she sets the tone for the company’s aesthetics — from templates to t-shirts. She has been on the team for more than a decade, including back in the pre-digital days when they worked primarily on print advertising campaigns. While there are a lots of dog lovers at ShortStack, Lea is the ultimate dog mom. When she’s not in her office, she’s with her pups, Rocco and Amelia.
Adam has been with ShortStack almost since the beginning. He earned a degree in business from the University of Nevada, Reno and is the consummate salesman. He helps agencies and brands design custom campaigns with all the features they’ve dreamed of. When Adam’s not on the phone, he’s with his family, entertaining his two toddler daughters.
Justin is the guy you’re likely to hear from via the ShortStack help channels. He’s responsible for crafting our help documents, and also happens to be the newest member of the ShortStack team. Justin has a degree in speech communication and graphic design. When he’s not answering questions, he enjoys being a DJ on the local community radio station and travelling with his wife. He’s also a proud dog dad to five dogs!
Mike is the development team member in charge of improving the platform. He is continually testing ideas and developing new features. He’s also an experienced 3D software engineer and happens to be the office GIF master. Mike has a degree in software engineering technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology. When he’s not in the office, he’s working on “The Beast,” an old Ford he’s rebuilding.
Tara is ShortStack’s office manager and go-to gal for just about everything from Costco runs to holiday-party planning. She has a degree in liberal arts from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is a registered nurse. Tara also has the distinction of having served as Miss Reno Rodeo and Miss Nevada Rodeo and when she’s not at the office or the hospital, she’s with her horses, chasing her three (BIG) dogs around or playing with her son, Ellis.
If you’ve ever listened to a ShortStack YouTube video, you’ve heard Jessica’s voice. She’s part of the content team, creating help videos, writing blog posts and answering the occasional support ticket. Jessica has a degree in history from the University of Nevada, Reno. Jessica loves to travel and in the recent past has been to both Thailand and Japan.
Amy is the team’s project manager and she’s a master at juggling all the moving parts of every project. Amy has a degree in speech pathology and audiology from the University of Nevada, Reno. She’s a busy mom of two and when she’s not at work, she’s chasing them around the soccer field or the swimming pool.
Jane has been with ShortStack since before the beginning. Over the years, she has worn many hats with the company, including leading our customer support and customer success teams. Jane holds a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Texas and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. When she’s not at work, you’re mostly likely to find Jane on a plane, working on house projects or getting her zen on at yoga.
